Menopause and GP Cancellation Policy

**Menopause and General Physician (GP) Appointment Cancellation Policy**

Our clinic understands that circumstances may arise which could require you to cancel or reschedule an appointment. The following cancellation policy has been established to ensure we can continue to provide timely and efficient care to all of our patients facing menopause and other health concerns.

**Notice of Cancellation**

– **Advanced Notice:** – We request that patients provide at least 48 hours’ notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another patient in need of care.

**Late Cancellations**

– **Late Cancellation Fee:** – Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a fee. Exceptions may be made for emergencies or unavoidable circumstances at the discretion of the clinic.

**No-Show Policy**

– **Missed Appointments:**  Patients who fail to attend their appointment without any prior notice (‘no-show’) may be subject to a no-show fee. Repeated no-shows could result in a review of the patient’s care plan within the clinic.

**Rescheduling**

– **Making Changes:** If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request based on our availability.

**Health Insurance**

– **Insurance Considerations:** Insurance policies typically do not cover cancellation fees. It is the patient’s responsibility to cover any such charges.

**Communication**

– **Contact Methods:** Please provide us with your preferred method of communication for appointment reminders, and notify us of any changes in contact information.

**Automated Reminders**

– **Reminders for Appointments:** Our clinic may send reminders via SMS, email, or phone call ahead of your appointment. Please confirm or cancel promptly upon receipt of a reminder.

**Understanding and Compliance**

– **Policy Awareness:** Our cancellation policy will be communicated at the time of booking and is also available upon request. By booking an appointment, patients are agreeing to adhere to the cancellation policy.
